The company held its 5th Annual Excellence Awards Ceremony on the first evening of its global Excellence and Innovation (E&I) Conference in Miami last week. Close to 500 WSI experts visited the gala supper and honors ceremony as WSI business enterprise and head office published the winners of their 2010 Excellence Awards.

For the fifth year in a row, we have seen some exceptional websites and Internet marketing and industry fineness from the global WSI network. The excellent winners list is a firm testimony to our community leadership and continual originality toward attaining new frontiers in this fascinating field. I want to congratulate all the winners of WSI’s 5th Annual Excellence Awards for their fantastic achievement.”

This year, the WSI Excellence Awards were divided up into 4 categorizations: Marketing Awards, Recognition Awards, Revenue Awards and Supplier Awards.

WSI Experts around the globe transmitted their best-in-class online marketing strategies for consideration in WSI’s Marketing Awards program. WSI Corporate then examined all the submissions and constructed a shortlist of 17 final nominees, at which point the entire franchisee network had the ability to vote for the remedies they presumed were most deserving of a 2010 WSI Marketing Award.

The Marketing Award winners were launched at the company’s award service in Miami last week.

* Husam Jandal, WSI Consultant based in Dubai, for a solution delivered to Kaya Skin Clinic

* Neal Lappe, WSI Consultant based in Virginia, for a solution delivered to Giroud Tree Service

* Doug Schust, WSI Consultant based in Ontario, for a solution delivered to Nisim

* Francois Muscat, WSI Consultant based in South Africa, for a solution delivered to CBT Coaches

* Jason Yi, WSI Consultant based in California, for a solution delivered to Diablo Solar Services

The firm also distributed Recognition Awards to specific men and women in the franchisee ‘network ‘ for their excellent contribution to maximizing the WSI system. Those who received a 2010 Recognition Award included: Darren Kincaid from Virginia for his bi-weekly talk show facilitating ongoing collaboration in the franchisee community. Chris Schofield from the UK, Doug Schust from Ontario, and Ron Adelman from Missouri were recognized for chairing WSI’s Product & Technology, Marketing and Education Committees respectively.

Other awards sent out at the celebration involved WSI Revenue Awards recognizing top sales revenue earners among the franchisee community for the 12 months earlier. Winners incorporated: Alberto Ferreiro from Mexico who received the Top Area Representative for Regional Growth Award and Gilles Dandel from France who received the Top Area Representative for Franchise Development Award. Doug Schust from Ontario received the Top Revenue Earner for a WSI Consultant Award. Ron Adelman from Missouri received the runner-up award for the same category, while Tim Pellens from the Netherlands received the second runner-up award.

Lastly, WSI also identified its Supplier community as ReachLocal received the Top Revenue Earner for an eMarketplace Supplier Award. Action Hosting received the runner-up award and WSI Search Results received the second runner-up award for the same category. Action Hosting also received the Top Recommended Supplier Award as voted by the franchisee community. Meanwhile, Silktide Ltd. (WSI Webscan) received the runner-up award and Constant Contact received the second runner-up award in that category.
