Have you ever felt like the most incoherent person in the world?

I have.

Have you ever felt that one of the reasons you keep trying to make it online is to justify yourself infront of the eyes of your family members and friends?

I have.

Have you ever felt like a fool wandering around on the net all day wasting time and money having zero or very poor results, while your friends and family laugh at you behind your back?

I have.

How about listening to what I discovered that has literally changed my life during the last month and will certainly change yours as well ? Well, I cant keep such an info to myself, I have to let it out, I have to share it with all marketers or non marketers, experienced or newbies. And I suggest you do the same.

For the last 6 years I have read more than 50 books on email marketing, listbuilding, advertising, traffic generating, web-business developing, web-advertising, article writing, google adsense tricks, google adwords tactics, blogs and ping, social marketing websites, SEO techniques and everything there is as well as hundreds of e-books others purchased and others offered for free as bonuses to software or digital info products I paid for.

Well, I don’t complain for all this wealth of information, but although you’d guess I’d be a web-marketing genius by now, till one month ago I was a BIG NOBODY,… Read the rest

Well, I don’t complain for all this wealth of information, but although you’d guess I’d be a web-marketing genius by now, till one month ago I was a BIG NOBODY, a ROUND ZERO, or maybe a MINUS, because I had paid for Google Adwords, e-books and books a small fortune and all I had got in return were a few dollars here and a few there.

You can get access to the info that turned this whole status upside down, by visiting my website, but even if you don’t, I’m sure you’ll find your own way to that info if you take a few minutes and sink into what I’m going to share with you here, but it will take you sometime, hopefully not 6 years as it took me.

Through my long journey to knowledge and self improvement as an Internet Marketer and as a person, five phrases originating from five different people who have my respect and admiration, were the milestones of my thinking and “reprogramming” and my point of reference – sort of compass – everytime I was badly sidetracked.

1. Common sense is more rare than blue diamonds. 2. It’s a numbers’ game. 3. 90% of those who buy the e-books don’t even finish reading them. A very tiny percentage of them will apply some of the actions or strategies presented. And just a few or nobody will follow exactly what the e-book publisher suggests or recommends. 4. People would do anything to avoid thinking for themselves. People hate thinking. 5. The solutions to the biggest problems are ridiculously simple and right under our nose, that’s why we don’t see them.

These “gems” have been spinning in my head all the time and have been my “filtering criteria” of what I had to cope with and how I should do it. But still, although applying online marketing techniques and approaches to my offline businesses, worked EXTREMELY FINE, I repeatedly failed to create an automated business online, even after having set up more than 15 websites of my own.

Trying to locate the reasons of my inertia, I realized that I was suffering from info-overload, and although I had all pieces of the puzzle in my mind, I still needed a SYSTEM a step by step guide which would help me put them together in a way that would enable me to get optimum results in minimum time and with minimum effort.

A WEB-MARKETING GUIDE and a SYSTEM which will give us the basics to an online business we’re more apt to, is essential and once we realize it, our share of web-profits is there for us to take it. But nothing will come alone without us lifting a finger. Yes, automation power is there only after you’ve sweated a river and have your eyes turned red from countless trials and errors till you set up the website, write a compelling sales copy, set your auto-responders, pick up the right product to promote, or write your own and have it properly compiled edited and secured. Not to mention the endless hours till you get acquainted with the right websites that offer you high exposure potential and those who will actually be your key-partners on your way to success.

And the main ENEMY of yours will be procrastination, distraction, sidetracking… My “handcrafts” website is a typical example of a great idea and a nice project in the hands of a “I know how to do it, but I’ll do it when I’m ready for it” loser. This website (* I can’t mention its domain here for reasons you can understand) would have been a “killer” in its own niche market should I had done 2 years ago what I always had in my mind but DIDN’T APPLY SO FAR. Maybe you should face your mistakes like I did when i came to realize that i had wasted precious time doing nothing to nurture, sustain my online business and help it grow. Never is too late for a new beginning.

It is so incredibly simple and obvious, but still we prefer to complicate our lives. Common sense is all it takes and you’ll see your online business like a proper offline one. A big offline business. I would urge you to tap in the numbers’ power which is offered to you on the web. How many customers would visit your offline business in a day : 3, 30, 300 ? Through the web your products or services are available to millions. All you need is a couple of thousand visitors on a daily basis, turning 20-50 of them into buyers. Believe me both can happen in a few days time. Just find a SYSTEM like the one I recommend on my website, and STICK TO IT. Don’t quit till you put everything together as presented step by step. Assuming you were going to make a cake using a recipe a friend gave you. Would you follow a few steps and then quit? Would you improvise? Or would you apply with absolute precision EVERY SINGLE STEP described on the recipe? Well, web-marketing results not to a cake but to the life of your dreams.

Following one by one ALL THE STEPS as advised and systematically is so rewarding that goes far beyond your wildest dreams. Start to love thinking and enjoy thinking for yourself. Analysis and synthesis, the two components of critical thinking will bring you closer to your dreams’ realization. And so will the power of intention and the definiteness of purpose, both empowered by visualization. There is a “trick” I’ve invented in order to align myself with my primary aims and achieve an efficient level of visualization. Once every month I pretend writing an email to my best friend who lives to another city, by sending her an email – sending myself an email- with “MY LIFE’s JOURNAL” describing things I want to experience as if they have already happened. In this “JOURNAL” I am the celebrity and I am to be admired and envied for all I am and all I have and do. Put this exercise in your weekly or monthly routine. You won’t believe the amazing results you’ll be getting.

If biggest truths lie just under our nose, why don’t you try to see things from a different perspective. You’ll soon discover solutions that were lying right under your nose. I have found the exact Web Marketing Guide you need and I highly recommend it.

If you want to be found in the search engines, it is importantthat you add search engine optimization to your action list. Ina nutshell, search engine optimization–or SEO for short–is theprocess of making your web pages “search engine friendly.”SEO is a relatively new marketing industry. Well, you know what, it is! Although the Internet is graphic-rich, itis a text-based medium. Information is what your visitors areseeking. If you web site doesn’t present the information theywant, don’t forget your competitor’s web site is only one mouseclick away.Search engines need copy to know what your web site’s theme isand how your site should be indexed in their directory. If yourhome page consists solely of a Flash movie or an image map, there will be nothing for the search engines to index. Flash iscool, but it is not so cool when your web site doesn’t come upin search engine results. So, how do you write keyword-rich copy? The first thing you need to do is identify the keyword phrasesthat are important and relevant to your web site. For instance, how would you describe your company, products and services? Moreimportantly, how would your visitors describe your company, products and services? Although the answer may seem like a no-brainer, it really isn’t, because you need to think outside ofthe box. You need to get into your visitor’s head and think likeyour visitor. What search terms would they use to find your website?A good place to start your keyword research is by looking atyour log files. What search terms are your visitors using tofind you? Armed with this information, you can begin researchingthe popularity of those terms. Researching your keywords is avery important task, because if you target the wrong terms, yourtraffic will suffer. Although your site may rank number one forsome obscure term, if no one is searching for that term, yoursite will not be found in the search engines. There are a number of handy tools available online to help youbegin building your list of relevant keywords. Overture(formerly Goto.com) offers a Search Term Suggestion Tool on itsweb site that will not only tell you how many times a particularkeyword phrase was queried in the past month, it’ll also presentyou with a list of alternative terms to consider for your searchengine optimization campaign.http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/In addition to utilizing keyword suggestion tools to researchyour keywords, I highly recommend brainstorming keywords withyour co-workers, employees, friends and family members. Betteryet, ask your clients and customers what terms they would use tosearch for your web site. Brainstorming keywords will teach youa lot about how others think and use the Internet to findinformation.Once you have identified your keywords, you will need tointegrate them into the body of your web page. Your sentencesneed to be intelligible and grammatically correct. Don’t forget:Your web copy will be read by human beings, as well as thesearch engines. If your web copy doesn’t make sense, yourvisitors will hit their back button never to return again. Badweb copy will defeat the whole purpose of your search engineoptimization campaign.WRITING YOUR META TAGSThe most important tag in the header section of your web pageis the title tag. The title tag is displayed in the bar at thetop of your browser window–above the toolbar. Many webmastersdo not use the title tag properly. For example, their page willbe titled “Home” or “Welcome,” or worse yet “untitled,” becausethey don’t include a title at all. The search engines place alot of relevance on the words contained within the title tag, sobe sure to include your targeted keyword phrases when writingyour title tag. This tag is generally limited to 60 characters,so choose your words with care. The next important tag in the header section is the descriptionmeta tag. This tag is used to describe your web page. Like thetitle tag, many of the search engines will extrapolate thisinformation to summarize your web site. Again, be sure toinclude your targeted keyword phrases. The third and least important tag in the header section is thekeywords meta tag. Because of abuse by unscrupulous webmasters, the keywords tag is ignored by many of the search engines. Evenso, some do use it, so it doesn’t hurt to include it. Like yourtitle and description tag, choose your keywords carefully. Donot include keywords that are not included in the body of yourweb copy or irrelevant to the theme of your site.LINK POPULARITYMuch is said about link popularity, but what is it exactly?A few years ago, people were joining “link farms” to increasetheir link popularity, but today that is frowned upon and canactually be detrimental to your quest for higher rankings in thesearch engines. Now the emphasis is more on the quality of thelinks pointing to your web site versus the quantity. Many of the major search engines use link popularity to gaugethe relevancy of your site in its search results. Plus, linksare what makes the web go-round. Many webmasters have the notionthat links are bad because they are sending visitors off oftheir web site. Although this is true, links to and from websites that complement yours helps to build credibility and setsthe stage for making your web site an authority in your field.Much is written about the importance of getting links fromdirectories like Yahoo!, Looksmart and the Open DirectoryProject, because they are reviewed by human beings. If you wanta link in the first two, however, it will cost you money. Alisting in Yahoo! and Looksmart is considered “paid inclusion.”Your marketing dollars will be well spent, though, becauselistings here will not only generate increased traffic, it willadd greatly to your web site’s link popularity.SUBMITTING TO THE SEARCH ENGINESOnce your web page is fully optimized, it is time to submit itto the search engines. Although there are hundreds of searchengines on the Internet, only a handful are truly important.Recent statistics show the top three search engines as:#1 MSN#2 Yahoo!#3 GoogleAlthough there are automated services that promise to get youlisted on thousands of search engines, it is recommended thatyou manually submit your site to the top search engines. Some ofthe search engines view automated submissions as spam and willnot list your site. Others put a higher priority on manualsubmissions. And others–such as Inktomi–required an annual feeto list your site. It can take weeks (sometimes even months!) toget listed, so again, be patient. The search engines areimportant to the success of your web site, so treat them withthe respect they deserve. Most of all, do not over-submit!For more information about search engine submissions, request acopy of my article “Web Site Promotion 101″ atmailto:sitepromotion101@sendfree.comTRAFFIC REPORTING AND ANALYSISOnce you have allowed an appropriate amount of time to lapse (Iusually wait six weeks), it is time to generate some reports toconfirm the success of your search engine optimization campaign.Search engine positioning reports provide a wealth ofinformation, such as your site’s position in the major searchengines, how you rank on your targeted keyword terms andphrases, which sites rank above and below you, where you’vedeclined in rankings, and so on.To automate the process of generating your search enginepositioning reports, download a free trial of 1stPlaceSoftware’s highly-acclaimed WebPosition Gold athttp://www.webposition.com/In addition to your search engine positioning reports, be sureto regularly check your traffic logs. Is your trafficincreasing? Are people finding your site with the search termsyou targeted? Which of the search engines are referring visitorsto your site? There are many variables that affect rankings, including: 1. Keyword density 2. Link popularity 3. Click popularity 4. Keywords in the title 5. Keywords in the description tag 6. Keywords in the keywords tag 7. Keywords in the names of linked pages and in the linkedwords 8. Keywords in the alt tags 9. Keywords in names of images10. Paying for ranks11. Listing in online directoriesSource: Search Engine Optimization and Placement: An InternetMarketing Course for Webmasters by Renee Kennedy and Terry Kent.http://www.thewritemarket.com/seo-book.shtmlCASE STUDY OF GRIEF LOSS & RECOVERYIn October 2001, my web site, Grief Loss & Recovery(<a target=”_new” rel=”nofollow”

In a field that seems to be changing by the second, which is the best software to invest in? Is it possible to play the SEO game with little or no computer expertise?

There are a number of reasons why the idea of SEO software and optimization intimidates people in general. SEO is probably the most difficult part of online marketing- those who have succeeded with their online businesses are usually those who are well versed in SEO. However, why is SEO such a tricky thing in the first place? First, it does require a certain amount of computer expertise.
Are The Odds Stacked Against You?

There are a number of reasons why the idea of SEO software and optimization intimidates people in general. SEO is probably the most difficult part of online marketing- those who have succeeded with their online businesses are usually those who are well versed in SEO. However, why is SEO such a tricky thing in the first place? First, it does require a certain amount of computer expertise. As an example, Google employs a special and rather complicated algorithm to determine page rankings. A number of SEO techniques are focused on cracking this algorithm and making it work in the marketer’s favor.

Not only is SEO complicated, it is continually changing. People are just beginning to understand the vast money-making opportunities online business provides. As it continues to grow, SEO tools and techniques are also rapidly evolving. And it’s not just the businesses- the search engines themselves are changing as well. In order to ensure that people keep using their services, search engines are using techniques to bring up relevant, good content that people really want to see. As a result, SEO strategies that worked well a year ago, are not only obsolete, they could also get you penalized for spamming. So how do you crack into something as large and complicated as this? SEO software offers an effective and easy solution.

SEO Facts And Features

Investing in SEO software is advantageous for a number for reasons- for one thing, it’s far cheaper than using the services of an SEO professional or a consultancy firm. These kinds of software packages essentially take care of much of the time-consuming SEO methods for you- for example, you don’t have to manually analyze any links. To make sure you get the most out of your software, make sure it has the following features.

Good SEO software should come with its own upgrading system- with the SEO field changing every day, your software should be able to keep up. Remember that if your software becomes outdated, you might have to invest in another. The software should also be easy to use and come with tutorials and support services as well. Make sure that it covers basic SEO features like keyword density, meta-tags, and link building.

Let others use your articles, along with your byline which will tell visitors who wrote it and how they can contact you, on their website. This will help to promote your own website and bring you in traffic through the search engine optimization and promotional efforts of others. For you this means absolutely free marketing just for writing a quick article about a subject that you are already familiar with. The more people who use your article as content as their website, the more potential traffic you will receive. These webmasters will probably be using SEO techniques, banner exchanges, and possibly even a Pay-Per-Click campaign to get visitors to their affiliate site. These are advertising methods that either take a lot of time or a lot of money and they will be absolutely free for you just because you placed your articles where others could use them. There are many places on the Internet that offer to post your article so that others may view and/or use it. My advice is to place your articles on every single one of these sites so that you can reach as many webmasters as possible.
